The Saudi Pro League is set to be viewed across the UK this season which will be a massive boost for the league, with a TV deal agreed.

The Saudi Pro League has been the topic of all conversations this summer, with every big English club seeing at least one player make the move.
Massive names in the world of football have sought pastures new, such as Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane are just a few of the names.
They have all joined following the move of Portugese megastar Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr during last season.
Now it seems the slew of big names arriving has led to increased demand to watch the fast-rising league.
Reports have suggested that the race has been won for the UK’s broadcasting rights for the Pro League to be displayed outside of the Middle East.
TV deal secured?
It comes according to the Daily Mail, who state that streaming service DAZN have managed to secure ‘exclusive rights’ to show the league this season.
It is thought that three matches per week will be showcased, and on-top of this every single Al-Nassr game will be displayed as is the Ronaldo effect.
DAZN are reportedly also keen to secure the rights to showcase the game in the US and across Europe.
The deal starts on Friday with Al-Ahli and Al-Hazm facing off with the seasons kick-off.
Next Monday sees the highlight of game week one, with Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq facing Al-Nassr.
This TV deal is huge news for the entire league, with more eyeballs than ever set to be on Saudi football.
It also demonstrates Al-Nassr’s status of being the league’s biggest club with the biggest names.
