Cristiano Ronaldo was superb yet again as Al-Nassr picked up another victory and made it four wins in a row in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese forward, who joined the Saudi side from Manchester United in January, has been a revelation since his move to the club following his contract being terminated with the Red Devils.

As well as Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, who joined the club this summer after a rather torrid time at Bayern Munich for £35 million, also scored against Al-Raed and the pair have been superb throughout.

The pair seemingly are developing a good connection on and off the pitch which can only be a positive for the Saudi side who are hoping to wrestle the title away from Al-Ittihad.

Al-Nassr are currently four points behind Al-Hilal, who were the league’s biggest spenders this summer, at the summit of the division.

Ronaldo’s reaction

It seems clear that the iconic Portuguese forward is certainly enjoying his time in the Middle East.

The former United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Sporting Lisbon forward has made an electric start to the new season in the Pro League as he has scored seven times and provided a further four assists.

The forward posted on Instagram following the victory over Al-Raed with a simple message saying: “That winning feeling”.

The forward has certainly made a huge impact on the division and it could be argued that the forward’s move to the Saudi side has encouraged other players from Europe’s top division to make the move to the Middle East.

One of those being Mane and the pair, if they carry on clicking as they have done so far, could well be a devastating duo and eventually lead the Saudi side to a Pro League title.
