Atletico Madrid have broken their silence on the rumours linking Antoine Griezmann with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.
Griezmann has been in sensational form for Atletico Madrid this season scoring 13 goals and providing an assist in 19 games across all competitions.
The forward has been reportedly on the radar of several Saudi clubs in the summer but it seems a deal never materialised for the Frenchman.
The Spanish club have now responded and claimed that they are yet to receive an official proposal for Griezmann’s services.

“There has been no official line of communication from clubs in Saudi Arabia to begin negotiations on the potential sale of Griezmann,” Atletico Madrid spokesman Juan Jose told Arriyadiyah. “The possibility of his departure at this time is also very difficult.”
Despite Jose’s claims, Marca confirmed that Atletico do have an offer from the Saudi Pro League with the club yet to be identified.
Al-Nassr already have a lethal frontline led by Cristiano Ronaldo consisting of Anderson Talisca and summer-signings Sadio Mane as well as Otavio.
Despite spending over £100 million in the summer, it seems the Riyadh giants are keen on making more additions in the January transfer window.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been reportedly on Al-Nassr’s list of transfer targets but the Spaniard is also linked with other Saudi clubs.
