Al-Nassr are set to continue their summer spree, with the signing of Clement Lenglet from Barcelona.

The Saudi Pro League side have been extremely active in the market, bringing in quality across the team.

Sadio Mane has joined Cristiano Ronaldo in the attacking department, which is a scary thought.

While in midfield, Seko Fofana from RC Lens and Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan have both arrived at the club.

At the back, Alex Telles is the only current defender who has joined, which leaves this department a priority.

A priority which could be on the verge of being sealed for Al-Nassr.

Lenglet close to Al-Nassr move

Now it seems that French defender Clement Lenglet could be the man to join the Saudi side.

The Athletic have even went so far as the state that, “Lenglet is close to a move to Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.”

Before continuing that while a deal isn’t yet done, it does appear to be “likely” that he joins the Riyadh based club.

Lenglet has been on Al-Nassr’s list for a while and now appears to be about to go, with Barcelona unlikely to recoup the £30million they spent on him in 2018.

How much will he cost

The French international’s stock has risen slightly following a season playing regularly for Tottenham.

He made 35 appearances for the Premier League side, scoring a goal as well but upon return to the Catalan side, was told he isn’t wanted.

With multiple years remaining on his contract, it is unlikely a budget deal will be done, however Barcelona could look to receive around £10million based on his current value.

This fee makes the deal extremely worthwhile for Al-Nassr, with a defender required to cope with the new star-studded attacks in the league.
