Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has emerged as a shock target for Al-Nassr this summer with the Saudi side set to try and convince the goalkeeper of a move this summer.
According to an exclusive from Sebastian Denis from Foot Mercato, the Saudi side are hoping to convince the goalkeeper to make the move and the Tweet states that Alisson may well be interested in that opportunity.
Reading into the report by the French journalist, following the 2-1 defeat against Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq, Al-Nassr know they need to act in the goalkeeping target.
A whole host of Saudi sides have taken players from Liverpool or former Liverpool players have decided the Pro League is where to be, whether it’s Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino, the Saudi Pro League has become a popular division.
Would Alisson actually make the move?
The report, as mentioned, states he would be interested in making the move to the Middle East but whether that is actually true or not remains to be seen.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been a mainstay in the Liverpool team since he completed his move to the Anfield club back in the summer of 2018 from AS Roma.
The goalkeeper has consistently saved Liverpool time and time again with saves that he had no right to make. It may well be time for the Liverpool goalkeeper to consider his future.
The Brazilian has won everything there is to win in England so there may be a part of him that thinks a move to the Saudi Pro League will be good for his career.
Al-Nassr would be an excellent choice for the 30-year-old, who has plenty of years left at the top level as he is a goalkeeper. The loss for Liverpool would be the Saudi side’s gain and, at that point, anything other than a title win would be a failure.
