Al-Nassr midfielder Seko Fofana has revealed the reason behind his frustration after being substituted in their win over Al-Akhdoud.
Fofana made his ninth league start for Al-Nassr on Saturday as his side cruised past Al-Akhdoud in a dominant 3-0 victory.
Sami Al-Najei broke the deadlock for the visitors in the first half before Cristiano Ronaldo’s late double ensured all three points were secured.
During the game, Fofana appeared to be frustrated after seeing his number come up on the substitution board as he was replaced by the returning Marcelo Brozovic after 55 minutes.

The Ivorian was asked about his reaction after the game and said he wasn’t too happy about being taken off after an outstanding display.
“It was a great night for us, we scored three goals and deserved to win,” Fofana told SSC after the game. “We have important games ahead and we need to be ready for them.
“I’m happy about my performance. I think I did well throughout the game and as a footballer, you always want to play and help the team.
“My reaction was normal. I think it wasn’t exaggerated as you claim it was. I am only here to be with the team and help Al-Nassr win games,” he added.
Al-Nassr’s win elevated their tally to 34 points in the Saudi Pro League table as they sit second just behind rivals Al-Hilal at the top.
