Manchester City ace Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly decided to hold off interest from Al-Nassr until the end of the current season.
De Bruyne has been linked with a move to Al-Nassr recently after reports confirmed the Saudi club initiated talks with the Belgian’s representatives.
The 32-year-old is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and hasn’t played a game for Manchester City since their win over Burnley at the start of the season.
Despite his links with a potential move away from the Emirates Stadium in January, De Bruyne seems to be keen on staying in England for the time being.
According to multiple reports, De Bruyne informed his agent to stall negotiations with Al-Nassr until the end of the season.
The midfielder is reportedly focused on his season with Manchester City as he plans to make his return by the beginning of next year.
“He says he feels really good, but still isn’t training or running much,” Guardiola told reporters last week. “I’d say he’s the last one to come back and train with us.
“I won’t say two weeks, one week. We don’t put pressure, the doctors say next step. No pressure, recover, it’s not necessary to do the bad decisions to come back early. Step by step.”
