Manchester City captain Kevin De Bruyne is reportedly still contemplating a move to Saudi Arabia next season.
The Belgian recently returned to the bench in their Premier League clash with Sheffield United after sustaining an injury at the start of the season against Burnley.
Recent reports have strongly linked De Bruyne with Al-Nassr but it seems the 33-year-old has ruled out the possibility of a winter transfer.
Despite that, it seems he hasn’t completely shut out interest from the Riyadh giants after a recent update from Rudy Galletti.
Last month, the Italian journalist claimed that De Bruyne will only evaluate offers at the end of his season with Manchester City.
He has now reiterated that the midfielder was contacted once again by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) explaining that he is their next big target in the summer.
Additionally, Al-Nassr representatives had reportedly laid out their long-term project for De Bruyne towards the end of last year.
The 32-year-old’s current deal at Manchester City expires in 2025 and he could be interested in the idea of playing alongside Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
The Riyadh giants have already acquired Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana, Aymeric Laporte, Alex Telles, and Otavio for £160 million last summer.
With their current squad, Al-Nassr will likely have to let go of one of their non-homegrown players to accommodate the potential arrival of De Bruyne.
