Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho has praised Cristiano Ronaldo for his mentality during their time together at Old Trafford.
Both Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo arrived together at Manchester United in the summer of 2021 before the duo headed their separate ways.
Ronaldo was frozen out of the squad by Erik ten Hag over a year ago and found himself inspiring a football revolution in the Saudi Pro League months later after joining Al-Nassr.
Meanwhile, Sancho suffered a similar fate recently and had to complete a short-term loan move to former club Borussia Dortmund for more game time.

Speaking to the club recently, Sancho was asked about Ronaldo’s influence and the Englishman explained the 38-year-old’s impact in the dressing room.
“He’s a great professional and obviously he was one of my role models growing up,” Sancho said in an interview on Dortmund’s YouTube channel.
“Again, I just love his mentality and for every young player that was there at that time, they learned to be at the top you have to train like you’re playing.
“Every day at your best, even in the gym, working and even recovery, sleep is important, so you know seeing him and playing with him was a dream come true because watching clips of him is definitely inspirational.
“I’m thankful to him and think he’s taught me during his time in Manchester,” he added.
