Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kévin N’Koudou believes he shouldn’t be compared with strikers like Cristiano Ronaldo.
N’Koudou currently plies his trade for Saudi Pro League outfit Damac after completing a move in the summer on a free transfer.
The Cameroonian has had a decent start to the campaign and was on target twice as helped Damac secure a 3-1 upset win over Al-Ittihad on Thursday.
His brace helped move Damac to sixth in the league table and elevated him to third in the list of top scorers this season with 13 goals.
Speaking after their victory against Al-Ittihad, N’Koudou expressed his delight with his performance and talked about his comparisons with Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I think I’ve done well so far and scored goals that helped the team,” N’Koudou told Saudi TV channel.
“It’s important that we get every point we can and I am happy with how I have been playing but I don’t compare myself to Cristiano Ronaldo and Aleksandar Mitrovic.
“I try to do my best always but I don’t see myself challenging for the top scorer award simply because I play as a winger and not as a natural centre-forward.
“But whenever I get the chance, I try to score and provide goals for the team,” he added.
