Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalic heaped praise on Al-Nassr’s Marcelo Brozovic ahead of their clash against Latvia in the European qualifiers.
Since his move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, Brozovic has been an integral part of Al-Nassr’s lineup this season under Luis Castro.
The 31-year-old midfielder made 15 starts in all competitions and has scored once in the AFC Champions League while assisting four times.
His performances have inspired Al-Nassr to mount a Saudi Pro League title challenge as they trail leaders Al-Hilal by just four points after 13 games played.

The former Internazionale man was also rewarded with another Croatia national team call-up for their games in the November international break.
Croatia are set to play their final two games of the 2024 Euro qualifiers and are hoping to secure a place in the tournament.
They are currently level on points (10) with Wales in Group D and could book their ticket to Germany with potential wins over Latvia and Armenia.
Ahead of their encounter against Latvia, Zlatko Dalic explained the importance of having Brozovic in their squad and praised his influence on the team.
“Brozovic is a quality player,” Dalic said in the press conference.”I expect him to continue performing at a high level like he did in the last two games.”
“I never doubted him whenever he played for us. Brozovic is our engine. He is the driving force that pushes us forward in the middle of the pitch.”
