Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted in Al-Nassr’s final training session ahead of their clash against rivals Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr are set to take on leaders Al-Hilal in the Riyadh derby as part of the Saudi Pro League’s 15th round on Friday.

The Riyadh giants were initially dealt a huge blow with Ronaldo having to leave the pitch in their 3-0 victory over Al-Akhdoud.

Head coach Luis Castro also confirmed after the game that Ronaldo may not be available for selection in the derby, saying the Portuguese’s injury is ‘not looking good’.

Just hours before the game, Ronaldo was seen in Al-Nassr’s training ground and the 38-year-old may well be a starter for Al-Nassr.

According to multiple Saudi reports, the skipper is fully fit and prepared to lead Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal for the full 90 minutes.

Summer signings Aymeric Laporte and Marcelo Brozovic are also set to be included in the lineup despite facing some fitness issues in recent weeks following the international break.

On the other hand, Al-Hilal will be without Neymar, who suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear weeks ago.

Al-Nassr currently trail Al-Hilal by four points and a potential victory would see the Yellows move just one point within the league’s top spot.
