Manchester United centre-back Raphael Varane is reportedly the latest player to be linked with a move to Al-Nassr in January.

Varane was rumoured to be heading to Saudi Arabia in the summer with a number of clubs lining up a bid to sign the central defender.

The Frenchman has had a slow start to the season under Erik Ten Hag making just nine starts in all competitions despite recovering from a recent injury.

With his contract expiring in the summer of 2025, Varane could be on his way out of Old Trafford as the club plot a potential sale to recover his transfer fee.

According to multiple reports, Al-Nassr have reignited their interest in the 30-year-old and are keen on reuniting him with former Manchester and Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Riyadh giants have been on the lookout for another defender to partner with former Manchester City man Aymeric Laporte at the back.

Despite recently extending the contract of Saudi international Abdelelah Al-Amri until 2028, Al-Nassr still aim to add more defensive options in January following his injury setback.

The club has had a bright start to the new campaign and are currently second in the Saudi Pro League table with 37 points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
