Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Michael Jordan as two icons of sport who’s brand has featured on the front of football shirts.

Al-Nassr got themselves a second consecutive win on Wednesday as they defeated Al-Shabab 4-0.

Crisitano Ronaldo was amongst the goals once again as he bagged a brace along with an assist for his peer Sadio Mane.

Ronaldo could have had a hat-trick too as he hit the post with a header to disappointingly for him see the chance go amiss.

Elsewhere for Ronaldo, back in Europe at his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon, they are paying tribute to the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough.

They have done so with a unique and eye-catching statement on the front of their kits.

Jordan obviously with the Air Jordan and PSG collaboration has now got company with this.

Ronaldo as a gesture to him by Sporting, has seen his logo replace the Nike logo on their shirt.

It is incredibly classy looking in the gold and we are huge fans, also wouldn’t be opposed to seeing this on an Al-Nassr shirt in the future.

Ronaldo is a lifetime Nike contract holder which explains the unique statement being made possible.

For Sporting, the great made his professional debut and began what became an illustrious career here.

He scored five goals and assisted six in 31 games for the Portuguese giants prior to being scouted and signed by Manchester United, where the rest is history.
