Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third hat-trick since arriving in Saudi Arabia to help Al-Nassr overcome Al-Fateh in a dominant display.

After two defeats in their opening games, Al-Nassr finally recorded their first victory of the Saudi Pro League season after their 5-0 thumping of Al-Fateh on Friday.

Their five-star performance was highlighted by a Sadio Mane double and a 63rd career hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo to get Al-Nassr back to winning ways in convincing fashion.

The win comes before their highly-anticipated encounter against Ever Banega’s Al-Shabab in the fourth league round next Tuesday.

Ronaldo talked about Al-Nassr’s win and expressed his delight with his treble while also reiterating that the Saudi Pro League will be one of the biggest competitions in the future.

“We knew how important the game was for us,” Ronaldo told SSC Sport after the game. “We finally have our first win this season after scoring many goals.

“I am really happy about my hat-trick and the win. We are improving every game and so is the chemistry between myself, Sadio Mane, and Abdulrahman Ghareeb.

“It feels great to be here in Saudi Arabia. I also want to remind you of what I said before, this league will be one of the best in the world by attracting the biggest stars in football.

“I want to thank the country for embracing me here. I feel very happy, and this gives me great motivation to do my best in football,” he added.
