Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes has responded to rumours linking him with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

Italian journalist Rudy Galetti had linked Fernandes with a transfer to the Saudi Pro League next summer as Al-Nassr eye a move for the Portuguese.

The 29-year-old’s current deal at Old Trafford runs until the summer of 2026 with an option to extend his stay for a further year.

Multiple reports also confirmed that Manchester United received a bid in the region of £87 million and the club could be tempted to accept the bid.

Fernandes has been away on international duty as his country earned wins over Liechtenstein and Iceland in the 2024 Euro qualifiers.

The former Sporting midfielder was asked about Saudi Arabia’s interest and revealed he is determined to stay in England for the time being.

“I’m focusing on the national team and United. I’m happy where I am,” he told Sport TV in Portugal.

‘In the national team, we had some very good times, at Manchester United we didn’t start the way we wanted. I don’t look at rumours. I don’t pay attention to them.

‘Today, it’s very easy to spread rumours in the press. I prefer to concentrate on my goals,’ he added.
