Al-Nassr have been reportedly scheduled to play two friendly games during the Saudi Pro League halt in January next year.

With the domestic league being put on hold due to the Asian Cup taking place next month, Al-Nassr will have some time to prepare for the second half of the season.

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami recently confirmed that they are set to meet Al-Nassr as part of the Riyadh Season Cup in a highly-anticipated friendly in February.

But before that, Al-Nassr will reportedly be on a short trip to Asia during the winter break for more friendly games.

According to Arriyadiyah, Luis Castro’s men will travel to China on January 19th and will spend just under two weeks to take on two of the best teams in their league.

Their first encounter will take place against champions Shanghai Port on January 24 before they face Zhejiang four days later.

It’s worth noting that Al-Nassr have three games remaining this calendar year as they host Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq on Friday before visiting Al-Ittihad and Al-Taawoun respectively.

Al-Nassr currently trail leaders and rivals Al-Hilal by 10 points at the top of the league table after 15 games played so far.
