Al-Nassr head coach Luis Castro has praised Sadio Mane ahead of their upcoming tie in the AFC Champions League.

Luis Castro’s side recently earned an impressive 2-1 comeback victory over Damac to remain four points within leaders Al-Hilal.

The Riyadh giants will be hoping to continue their winning run on Tuesday when they meet Philippe Coutinho’s Al-Duhail.

Speaking before the game against the Qatari outfit, Castro talked about Al-Nassr’s recent performances while also explaining the importance of having a player of Sadio Mane’s calibre.

The Senegalese has already scored seven goals and provided two assists in 13 appearances across all competitions this season.

“We have defensive problems but it’s not down to one or two players. It’s a collective effort,” Castro said in a press conference.

“But it’s also important to play a style of football that makes my players happy. I think players are always happy as long as they have the ball at their feet.

“We didn’t have enough time to prepare for this game, just recovery on Sunday and only one training session the day after.

“It’s an important game to go top of the group and my team selection will depend on different factors.

“Sadio Mane adds dimension when he plays and allows Cristiano Ronaldo to have different types of movement than the ones he does when Abdulrahman Ghareeb plays on the wing.

“We analyse every game and that’s why my choice of personnel depends on the opponent we’re facing,” he added.
