Former West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson is the latest to be linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League according to Sky Sports.
Anderson made his big £35 million to the Premier League from Lazio back in 2018 after impressing in Serie A for five years.
The Brazilian was then sent out on loan to Porto for ten months before making his return to Lazio again on a permanent deal in 2021.
With less than six months remaining on his deal in Italy, multiple English clubs have already contacted the player for a pre-contract agreement and recent reports suggest the 30-year-old could be heading to Saudi Arabia.
Sky Sports reported that Lazio president Claudio Lotito received an offer of £12.9 million to get Anderson’s signature this month.
However, the Italian giants remain keen on keeping the player and extending his contract which would see him stay at the club until the summer of 2027 with an option to extend for a further year.
Al-Nassr’s stance
With the arrival of Sadio Mane and Otavio last summer, Al-Nassr have managed to form a strong attacking set-up this season with Anderson Talisca as well as Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite that, head coach Luis Castro had to turn to Saudi internationals Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Khalid Al-Ghannam for rotational purposes in the current campaign.
While the former showed potential, it seems the Riyadh giants still need more competition on the wing, and Anderson could be an option for them.
