Atletico Madrid centre-forward Antoine Griezmann has revealed his future plans amid talks of interest from Al-Nassr.
Griezmann has been tipped for a move to the Saudi Pro League since the summer with Al-Nassr reportedly keen on bringing the Frenchman to the Middle East.
The 32-year-old is currently enjoying a sensational campaign with Atletico Madrid netting 16 goals and providing two assists in 24 games across all competitions.
Despite Al-Nassr reigniting their interest in Griezmann, the forward seems to prefer taking a different route than players like Cristiano Ronaldo.
In a recent interview with Spanish newspaper AS, the former Barcelona man expressed his desire to remain part of Atletico’s squad for the time being.
With a deal until 2026 at the Metropolitano, Griezmann also revealed that he intends to make the switch to Major League Soccer (MLS) after finishing his run in European football.
“Atlético will, almost with 100 percent certainty, be my last club in Europe,” Griezmann said via Ojogo.
“It’s where I want to be, where I am happiest and where I feel at home. After Europe, I would like to play in the MLS, I’ve always recognised that.
“I want to win titles with this club, do everything possible. In the Champions League, in the round of 16, we will face Inter, a difficult opponent, but similar to us.
“And in La Liga, we want to be as close as possible to the league leaders because anything can happen,” he added.
