According to reports, Al-Nassr could soon find themselves under pressure with multiple clubs awaiting payment from Aymeric Laporte deal.
Aymeric Laporte was one of Al-Nassr‘s multiple big named arrivals brought in last summer.
However the deal is now said to be causing controversy in France, with clubs not receiving the cut of the deal they are entitled to.
This namely being Agen and Bayonne who both trained Laporte at various stages and therefore are entitled to a percentage of the fee.
However despite this, neither have seen the ‘colour of money’ from the deal.
Al-Nassr could have issues
According to Sud Ouest in France, Al-Nassr paid £23.8 million to Manchester City for Laporte and the percentages were supposed to then be took out and sent to the clubs who trained him as a youngster.
This would’ve seen Agen recieve around £233k for training him between 2005 and 2009, while Bayonne are due £60,000 as they trained him from 2009 to 2010.
It is believed to have been the responsibility of Al-Nassr to pay this, which negates City from being responsible.
There is believed to be 30 days for the money to be paid following the deal on August 24th, which means the deadline has passed and the money hasn’t been paid.
It is now possible that the French sides will go to FIFA to pressure Al-Nassr into paying the money to avoid any consequences.
