Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for three prizes at the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards set to take place next month.
The Globe Soccer Awards is a yearly event held in the United Arab Emirates featuring the world’s best players and coaches in football.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not a stranger to the ceremony having already claimed a number of awards over the years for his performances for club and country.
The Portuguese made his return again after an outstanding year that saw him score an incredible tally of 48 goals while providing 13 assists in 2023.

As a result, he has been included in the 30-man shortlist for the Best Men’s Player award and is set to be facing tough competition.
Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah, Victor Osimhen, Luka Modric, Vinicius Jr, and Kylian Mbappe are some of the names also in contention for the prize.
However, Ronaldo’s chances of claiming an accolade are higher as he was also nominated for the Fans’ Favourite Player of the Year as well as the Best Middle East Player.
It has been four years since Ronaldo won the prize and the 38-year-old will be hoping to reclaim it at this year’s edition of the Globe Soccer Awards.
On the other hand, Al-Nassr were left out of the Best Men’s Club prize as rivals Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal made the cut along with Barcelona, Arsenal, Internazionale, Manchester City, and Napoli.
