Al-Nassr begin their Asian Champions League campaign against Iranian champions Persepolis on Tuesday night.

The top scorer in the history of the UEFA Champions League Cristiano Ronaldo gets his first opportunity in the Asian equivalent on Tuesday.

Al-Nassr‘s talisman is the leading scorer in the Saudi pro League as him and his teammates come into this game in excellent form.

Their opponents are yet to concede to their opposition this season as they look to win their 16th title.

Persepolis will also be looking to win their first Champions League crown, and will have taken inspiration from their title charges in 2018 and 2020.

Ronaldo will be supported by an in-form as always Sadio Mane as both look to score in their fifth successive game.

Al-Nassr predicted XI

With good form in the Saudi Pro League established we expect that Al-Nassr will go with a really strong line-up.

So Luis Castro will probably select his first choice players for each position, se we expect it to look as follows.

In goal Nawaf Al-Aqidi will play are the clubs best option there and has been improving week on week.

In defence, Alex Telles will be at left-back, with Sultan Al-Ghannam on the left side of defence.

Aymeric Laporte and Mohammed Al-Fatil we think will be the best option at centre-half.

A midfield pivot of Marcelo Brozovic and Abdullah Alkhaibari has been top quality this season so it should continue here.

In attack, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Otavio and Sadio Mane should make up the three behind the striker.

Then up top, Cristiano Ronaldo should get the nod to continue his excellent form.
